Ghosts of us is a love story about a woman who finds out she has cancer as she’s getting a second chance at love. I wrote it because cancer affects so many people and it’s never convenient. In my mid 20s I had a concerning breast lump that I had to have biopsied and removed. This story is that experience but what if I had kids and the outcome was different? While I was writing this film a dear friend of mine was fighting colon cancer.  This film is

 a reminder to not let fear keep you from living. It’s also a reminder that all the relationships in our lives are love stories. Relationships whether romantic or platonic are important to our stories and who we become.
